Kristen and Andrew were married early in June at the Ridley Creek Mansion in Delaware County, Pa. Kristen was really excited for her big day. I mean, she was really, REALLY excited to say "I do". We started the day inside the mansion's gorgeous bridal suite. This space is one of the reasons why the Ridley Creek Mansion is one of my favorite venues to photograph in.
Kristens hair by Bella by Design was stunning, and her flowers courtesy of Events by Organized Chaos, were the perfect finishing touch.
After the dress was on, we set out to grab a first look and bridal party photos on the amazing mansion grounds. As avid hikers, working nature and the trees into the photos was very important to both Kristen and Andrew.
Here is a shot of Kristen letting her Groomens know that she was about to get married, in case they had forgotten.
Once we had a major portion of the formal photos out of the way, it was time to start the ceremony. Pastor Andy Mahaney preformed the ceremony on the stone steps under the huge trees that line the property, which was perfect for this outdoors couple.
Post ceremony we grabbed the necessary family photos and then Kristen grabbed her boots and we headed to the stream. A nature girl myself, I kicked off my shoes and hopped in to grab the best angles. To be honest, it was refreshing.
It was time to move inside and enjoy the reception with catering, including mac and cheese bar (!), by Diverse Catering and entertainment by DJ Robert Sperring. Kristen took an a ton of DIY projects to give her day a special touch, including mason jar centerpieces, suitcase card box, fingerprint tree guestbook, moss and twine monograms, bride and groom seat sings, "Just Married" sweetheart table marker, program fans, and the cake topper!
As the night carried on, and the sun began to set, we hit the gradens one last time to grab a few more shots in the days best light.
Many congrats and years of happiness to you both! Thank you for letting my capture your amazing wedding day.
